Cruz del Sur was founded in 1957, thanks to the vision of Víctor Masson and Armando Menghini.
For 50 under their management, today Cruz del Sur is directed by Armando B. Menghini, Emilio Aguirre and Ernesto Dusserre and continues growing steadily.
Since 2001, the company has been located in the Central Provision Market of Buenos Aires. Although not common amid the Argentine economic crisis, the Cruz del Sur decided to expand the company structure in Buenos Aires by moving to a larger lot, with a surface of 110,000 sq m.
What set the benchmark in the history of Cruz del Sur was to be the first provider of express services joining Buenos Aires - Comodoro Rivadavia in 36 hs, at a time when the road was not yet paved.
Local presence was achieved through a network of 79 branches, among which there are third-party and own branches, providing clients with tailor-made services.
In the year 2006, the company registered for ISO 9001:2000 for its logistics division operation processes, which include: home pickups, reception of goods, warehousing, dispatch, and distribution.
Today, Cruz del Sur is the only company offering the coverage needed to meet a wide range of requirements, creating in its turn a network that generates new businesses among clients.
